Three-wheeled buggies are great for walking around the neighborhood or running. Their compact design allows them to be maneuvered easily even in tight spaces.

New data show that three-wheeled buggies that were the emblem of the noughties, which had more money than common sense, are in rapid decline. Four-wheelers have replaced them, and are more flexible and simple to drive and look stylish.

Kath wrote “it feels sturdy to push and extremely solid when going over difficult terrain. Its tyres (which are inflatable so need occasional pumping) come with suspension built-in which was extremely comfortable for my kids.
Another thing to consider is the size of the seat and shape. It is important for the seat to be big enough to allow your child to be comfortable and to allow them to lie down. Certain three-wheel buggies come with the option of lying flat, which allows the child to face you, while other buggies only permit a parent-facing option.

Many three wheeled buggies have rotating front wheels that aid you in maneuvering around tight corners, whereas others are designed for running and have fixed front wheels that lock to improve the speed and stability at which they can be pushed. This is especially useful when you crash into a tree or a kerb. The front wheel will lift slightly to keep it from hitting it.

Easy to Manoeuvre
A three-wheeled buggy is easier to maneuver with children. The way in which they are constructed means that the front wheels spin at a quick pace and are incredibly easy to manoeuvre and are ideal for difficult terrains such as parks, cobbles, bumpy pavements and dirt tracks.
MFM reviewer Kath tried a 3-wheeler with her toddler. she wrote: “The Terrain is a pleasure to drive on uneven terrain. The front swivel wheel was especially helpful.” I was also awed by how well it coped with the kerbs, particularly when using the hand-operated brake. It was extremely stable when in the downhills or on a rough terrain.”
The only drawback to this great maneuverability is that the three wheel buggy's larger wheels do sometimes mean that it can struggle in tight spaces - something to be aware of especially if you live in a city region. If this is a problem then a 4-wheeled buggy could be the better choice for you.
