The name of the series suggests that GE’s Profile series is targeted at those who wish to incorporate cutting-edge technology into their kitchen. This fridge has them all including a Keurig K cup coffee maker in the door, to a clever dispenser of water. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. This fridge is expensive and I was expecting better.
This fridge is a great option, despite the slight blip. It features a large freezer compartment, which is unusual for counter-depth French door fridges. It also has a large capacity for frozen food compared to other models.
The fridge is equipped with 17 shelves and compartments. The refrigerator compartment has 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is on what you would expect from a french door fridge comparison door fridge costing this much. It comes with a decent size icemaker in the left door. However, it's not the largest one I've seen.
You can adjust the shelves in both compartments to make the perfect storage solution. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is good-looking, too. Its LED lighting is a nice addition, and the in-door storage bins come with an additional shelf that folds down to make it possible to store tall items. The drawers have temperature controls that allow you to set them to Meat, Beverage, or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to open and close however I found the textured plastic coatings a bit hard on my fingers.
The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes all the features you would expect from a refrigerator within this price range. It has Wi-Fi, app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your refrigerator from anywhere in the world, and it has many options for customizing. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked and when the freezer or fridge needs to be defrosted, and when the filter has to be changed.
It would be nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS came with Precise Fill, an option available in a few other GE fridges that allow you to choose how many cups of water you'd like to disperse simultaneously. The fridge displays a countdown to reveal how much water is left, but it's not as useful as Precise Fill.
Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a striking piece. It's designed to look like a seamless piece of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a veggie compartment that keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer, and two compressors to preserve food items. The Ice maker is among the best we've ever tested and produces pyramid-shaped Ice with low water consumption. This refrigerator is ideal for a single household or kitchenette that needs an attractive design and top of the highest quality food preservation.
This fridge was the top-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for several reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained stable at just a few degrees Fahrenheit, and never moving by more than a fraction one degree. This is crucial in preventing freezing burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well, achieving the desired initial set temperature within a matter of hours and keeping that temperature steady over the course of our testing.
Bosch is a household name for its top-quality appliances. Therefore, it's no surprise that Bosch counter depth refrigerator is one of them. Bosch counter depth refrigerator can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. The app allows you to monitor and control your refrigerator remotely on your tablet or smartphone. The refrigerator is costly, but offers great features and functions at a fair price.
While the fridge is a fantastic piece of equipment but it's important to be aware of the limitations. It has a small shelf space, so you'll require some creativity when storing tall objects. The shelves aren't spillproof and can easily be stained or damaged by sharp items. It is easy to take out the trays in the fridge However, be sure to clean them frequently to prevent the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth fridge is a great option for those who need plenty of space in an extremely compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge has the standard rangemaster french style fridge freezer-door layout, with gallon-sized door bins on each door as well as two rows of shelves for spill-capture and a set of sleeker drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded down to give tall items more room. You'll also find a full-width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.
One of the nice features of this refrigerator is that its Ice maker is located in the freezer, making it easy to move frozen ice to the fridge to use as needed. The freezer also comes with clever design features, such as sliding drawers that can help you organize your items. It also comes with a large bin that can hold plenty of frozen food items as well as an storage bin for ice.
Smart InstaView panel is another awesome feature of the refrigerator. It allows you to control the temperature of your fridge and lighting from your smartphone. It's a simple way to keep track of your refrigerator and manage it, especially when not at home.
Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't improve the overall performance of the refrigerator. The refrigerator took longer to chill food and defrost it than some others we tried. This is likely due to its bigger capacity.
The other issue we have with the doors of this refrigerator. They have sunken handles on the front, which allow shorter people to easily pull them open from the bottom, however they're not easy for taller people to guide shut without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had front-mounted handles.
The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent choice for those looking to blend the look of a French door refrigerator with an efficient design. It has a capacity that is higher than average for counter-depth models and also cools evenly. It's also less expensive than the best counter-depth refrigerator that has an ice maker, which can make it a desirable choice.
Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option if you want a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It has a simple design that isn't as visually striking as other models however it comes with enough features to make it a solid choice. Its most notable feature is the temperature adjustable drawer which helps keep food items like veggies and meat fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser, as well as an excellent ice maker that operates quickly.
Another nice feature is the “Chill Drawer” that sits over the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you redirect part of the fridge's cooling power directly to this area, meaning you can keep food items that require extra attention. You can adjust this feature by using an adjustable slider that is located just in the middle of the drawer. You can also adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've found that the generic settings work better than the specific ones.
During my experiments, I noticed that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent across various parts of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't vary significantly from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. This is a great performance, but it does not quite make it to the top of our ratings.
This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be connected with a smart thermostat to gain more precise information on the internal temperature of your fridge.
The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's outside is made of stainless steel with a grey body which has a “smudge-proof” finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
